  The short film ‘Kettle’ is a tribute to Mahatma whose message was his own
life. This short film illustrates a well known memoir of school life from Gandhiji’s
autobiography. While a dictation was given, Gandhiji misspells the word ‘kettle’. His
teacher prompts him to copy the right answer, but, he upholds the Gandhian
philosophy: “God is truth and truth is God”. ‘Honesty’ is a great and simple
philosophy of Gandhi. Honesty is the basic quality which should be attained by the
students. This short film aims at inculcating Gandhian philosophy in children. Hope
this short film will inspire students to keep away from the evil practice of copying.
Being a zero- budget movie; production of this film abides on Gandhian values.
